What is Combat HIIT?


Combat Hiit is a unique high intensity interval training routine, developed for Neath Martial Arts & Fitness Centre's fitness classes, by Seven Star Martial Arts Owner, Paul Summers.


Straight forward bodyweight exercises are used, so NO EQUIPMENT NECESSARY.


It was specifically developed to cater for all abilities/fitness levels.

Each one minute round can be flexible, so it doesn't matter if you're unable to complete the full 45 seconds of a particular exercise, you can rest until the next round. Many exercises have easy, moderate, advanced options. So almost ANYONE CAN DO IT!

Over time, fitness levels will increase, and you'll be able to complete the 45 seconds, and even increase the number of 'reps' or repetitions you're able to do in each round.


Each training session video has a description/list of exercises at the beginning. It may be worth pausing the video and jotting it down, or screen shooting it and printing it out, to aid you.

These videos are recordings of our online sessions streamed for our members during 'lockdown'.

Every video follows the following format. 7 mins warm up, 1 min prep. then 3 sets of seven intervals of 45 secs training and 15 secs rest. 2 minutes rest between sets, then 7 min cooldown and stretch.
