Why Quick Core Blast?
My name is Paul Summers. I'm the owner and founder of Seven Star Martial Arts & Fitness. I have a lifetime of varied sports activities, teaching and coaching experience and achievements.I've produced this core strengthening program from the online videos I did for my students during the covid 19 lockdown.
In 1999, I broke my back (L1 compression fracture) in quite a bad car accident. It unfortunately went undiagnosed for a long time, and I continue to suffer with a variety of associated issues, as well as daily back pain.
I was given some invaluable medical advice, to strengthen my core, to help take load from the spine and improve posture. It helped massively, until I allowed other priorities to get in the way. That resulted in a herniated disc and facing surgery last November. Unfortunately the hospital lost my notes, then with the outbreak of covid19, I decided waiting wasn't an option, so got stretching and exercising. I developed the Quick Core Blast.
In the weeks and months since, stretching 5 days a week, and doing the Core Blast twice a week, my mobility and core strength has increased massively.
More importantly pain levels have decreased enormously. I have to keep reminding myself that the end of last November, i was fully expecting to go in for back surgery. I'm no longer taking high strength prescription painkillers and muscle relaxants, and am quietly hopeful i can continue to progress and regain a decent level of fitness.
I sincerely hope that this can help others as much as it has helped me!
